Founding horses: Genil

Champion of Jerez and Champion of Spain

He arrives in Mexico providing the best “estripe” of a Spanish horse. He was the maximum reproducing stallion of that time leaving a legacy of over 130 sons and daughters who were later exported throughout the country as well as the continent. His blood is still found in the primary horse breeding farms in the country. He retired at the Hipódromo de las Américas in 1997 ridden by Don Francisco Santana, Champion of tamed horse tender and substituting the mount of his breeder Don Miguel Ángel de Cárdenas.
